Four New Year's Eve Outfits For When You Have Less Than 48 Hours

I've managed to leave my kitchen table long enough to pop my head up and realize that New Year's Eve is happening in 3..2..1 And low and behold, I'm woefully unprepared for hosting  a NYE party at my OWN apartment. I have no decorations, haven't stepped foot in a grocery store for snacks, and the worst of all, I haven't even bought my NYE dress (Queue loud gasps). In order to be a hostess with the mostess I have to dress the part, so I've made a guide of the types of styles that are easy to pick up on the rush. Here's how to get a great NYE outfit when you have less than 48 hour.

1. Get the jump on 2016

Get the club jumpin' jumpin' in a chic jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are one of the biggest trends and everywhere you shop will have them. Go simple, and amp up your look with large metallic statement jewelry.

2. Magical Metallics

A short-sleeved dress crafted from a metallic stretch knit in a sheath silhouette is a perfect way to bring in the New Year. This dress is the perfect last minute pick up so when people ask you about your outfit you can point to your metallic dress and say "Oh this old thing?"

3. SILKY SILVER

As you can see from this list, I'm not all about the typical NYE mini dress pick. This NYE let's go silky, sexy, and backless. This look is sexy, minimalistic, and super trendy.

4. THE VELVET UNDERGROUND

If anyone knows anything about me they know this: I love velvet. In fact, I planned on being buried in velvet. So of course I'm going to try to bring in 2016 in as much velvet as humanly and socially possible.
