Philly Fashion For A Cause: The Naot Trunk Show & Donation Event

Fashion blogging isn’t always about trends, #OOTD posts, and free clothes. Every now and then, fashion blogging has allowed me to connect with my city, learn about my neighbors, and support causes that strengthen my community. Like I always say, fashion can change lives, and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to prove that theory once again at Naot Footwear’s Trunk Show & Donation Event kicking off this Friday, May 13th from 10am to 4pm at Benjamin Lovell.

For those of you who are not familiar with Naot Footwear, allow me to graciously introduce you to a brand that puts comfort and standards above all else. Naot Footwear handmakes each original pair of shoes with the finest and highest quality raw materials. Not to mention that each shoe has a footbed aka their uniquely engineered insoles that make it feel like you’re literally (ok maybe not literally) walking on sunshine and fluffy clouds.

This fashion for a cause event is making it nearly impossible for you not to give back. In fact, just trying on a pair of Naots sandals will make a difference in our community. When you try on a pair of sandals, Naots will donate one pair of sandals to a neighbor in need and if you decide to buy a pair, Naots will donate two. All shoes will be donated to the People’s Emergency Center, a local nonprofit organization that nurtures families, strengthens neighborhoods and drives change. PEC’s volunteers provide comprehensive supportive service to homeless women and children in West Philadelphia neighborhoods.

Personally, I can not wait to attend this event and I look forward to seeing some of you there as well! I’m probably going to be the one in the hat trying on all the shoes. Come out and make a difference in our communities. For more information and to RSVP, visit the Facebook event page. See you there Philly!
